Here you will find information, among other things, about what personal information is collected, what it is used for, and what rights you have. SDE is highly concerned that personal information is handled encrypted and securely and has good procedures for this. SDE does not sell, exchange or otherwise pass on personal information to third parties.
In order to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we have to share certain information about you with Klarna. This only happens if you choose Klarna as the payment method. Klarna uses the information to assess whether you qualify to use their payment methods. The information used is the name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment history as well as ordering information such as payment method, shipping type, order details, and similar.
The use of such information is regulated in accordance with current privacy legislation and Klarna's privacy statement.
At SDE.NO we use HTTPS (HTTP over TLS / HTTP over SSL / HTTP Secure) for anonymous and secure data transfer.
Storage of customer data
Among other things, we store the names, addresses, and email addresses of our customers who have shopped online. This information is needed to deliver the goods to your home and to be able to follow you up in case of problems with the order. We also request contact information for in-store purchases. This is to register a receipt in your name and possibly also be able to send a receipt by email. Norwegian law requires us to store customer information in connection with accounting, fee handling, and warranty and return handling. For security reasons, the IP addresses used to register the orders are also stored. However, we do not store card numbers. All card transactions take place externally with authorized providers of payment services.
When purchasing with partial payment/consumer financing, you must consent to the credit institution performing the necessary credit check based on the social security number. When a financing agreement is entered into, the credit institution will store information about you throughout the loan period. The social security number is required to be stored, for tax authorities. When the loan is terminated, credit information is deleted and used only for statistics.
SDE regularly sends out newsletters via email. You can unsubscribe at any time via a link at the bottom of the newsletter. If you cancel an online purchase and we have your email, we will send you an email with a copy of the abandoned shopping cart. It is also possible to unsubscribe from this service.
Customer Club Membership Terms

1) About SDE.NO customer club
Scandinavian Diamond Exchange customer club is owned and operated by Scandinavian Diamond Exchange M Vora & Co with corporate/vat no. 854 785 362 (hereinafter referred to as "SDE" / "We").
SDE customer club is a benefit and loyalty program for those who are SDE customers
of SDE and who have registered you as a member ("you"). By registering you as a member, you agree to the terms of this agreement. This Agreement consists of the SDE Customer Club Membership and SDE Privacy Statement.
2) About your memebership
The membership is free and open to all individuals who have turned 16 years of age. When registering, you must register with your international mobile number (+Country Code + Local number), valid e-mail address, name and full postal address. You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide about yourself is accurate and up-to-date.
To become a member of the SDE customer
club club, you must accept these membership terms, as well as receive newsletters from SDE regularly by e-mail or
in one of our other channels (mail, social media or SMS).
As a member of SDE customer club you will receive offers reserved for members. These offers are value offers to our esteemed customers.The benefits the membership gives are personal and cannot be transferred to or inherited by others.
By enrolling in the SDE club, you are asked to consent to receive offers and other marketing by email, physical mail and SMS from us. You can at any time decide that such communication will cease for each of the channels, by using the unsubscribe feature in the email / SMS from us or by using another cancellation feature available to you.
To consent to communication by e-mail, sms or physical mail is a prerequisite for using member benefits and offers reserved for members since communication with members is the very purpose of SDE customer club. Communication on SMS is not a prerequisite for taking advantage of member benefits, but we still require mobile numbers of all members to easily identify each customer without using their own customer club number.
We guarantee that your information will only be stored and used in connection with your SDE customer club membership with the aim of providing you with the best possible customer experience with relevant and value offers and invitations.
In order to become a member of SDE customer club, you must consent to
us registering and processing personal information about you, your activity and other information in relation to the membership. We are responsible for the storage and
other processing of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The information is processed for the purpose of managing and customizing communications with you, to provide you with customized real value offers. Purchase history and clicks on our websites, email and SMS can be used for customer
marketing. As mentioned in section 2 last paragraph, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties.
If you have any questions, want access to the personal information we have about you, or wish them corrected or deleted because the information is incorrect, you can contact us at any time or log in to My page on our website sde.no. We undertake to give you access as set out in our Privacy Statement.
4) Agreement duration
The terms apply from the day you registered as a member or accepted these terms and replace any previous terms of your membership in the SDE customer club. You can terminate the agreement at any time with immediate effect by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with "SDE customer club registration" in the subject field. All information about you will then be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time, and most recently within the applicable legal requirements. Termination of the agreement on your part is addressed to one of the contact points in point 7 of the agreement.
We have the right to change the terms of the agreement. If we make major changes (changes that affect you), we will inform you of these so that you have the opportunity to accept the new terms. Such changes are, for example, that we want to process your personal information for a new purpose. If you do not wish to accept the new terms, you may terminate the agreement in the same manner as mentioned above. We can make small changes to the terms, such as changing our contact information, without informing you.
We reserve the right to terminate or replace SDE customer club with 30 days' notice. If SDE customer club must be wound up due to legislation, court decision, or prohibition given by the authorities, SDE can terminate with immediate effect without prior notice. We may terminate the Agreement with immediate effect if you have given incorrect information or violate your obligations under this Agreement.
5) Services provided by third parties
Through our services, it may be possible for you to connect with services provided by others than us (a third party). This applies, for example. if you buy a product to be shipped to you or make a payment. We note that other third-party terms may apply. You must accept these to use products or services that we do not offer directly.
SDE is not responsible for services provided by third parties. What you do with third-party services is a relationship between you and such a third party.
6) Force Majeure
If a situation arises that makes it impossible for us to fulfill our obligations in accordance with these terms or a situation which, according to common commercial law, is considered Force Majeure, our obligations will cease as long as the extraordinary situation persists. Examples of this are legislative changes, labor disputes, strikes, lockouts or other circumstances beyond the control of the parties, such as war, rebellion, fire, flood, explosion, government intervention, or network failure due to failure of parties.
7) Disputes and applicable law
This agreement is regulated and interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts. The right venue is Oslo District Court unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation.
