Founded in Oslo in 1977, Scandinavian Diamond Exchange began as a dedicated wholesale house specializing in polished diamonds and precious gemstones. Built on expertise, integrity, and a passion for exceptional stones, the company quickly earned its reputation within the trade. Over three generations, SDE has evolved into a full-spectrum destination for fine jewellery and horology. Today, we offer an extensive collection of colored gemstones, natural diamonds, fine jewellery, estate treasures, and distinguished timepieces — carefully curated for collectors, investors, and those celebrating life’s most meaningful moments. But we are more than a jeweller. Scandinavian Diamond Exchange combines tradition with cutting-edge technology. Our in-house atelier brings together certified GIA and HRD gemologists, master goldsmiths, expert engravers, precision diamond setters, and a master watchmaker — each dedicated to craftsmanship at the highest level. From bespoke CAD/CAM-designed creations to hand and laser engraving, professional appraisals (NGF), and advanced gemological services, we provide expertise directly to our clients. Creation never stands still at SDE. Every week, new designs are born in our atelier — shaped by hand, sculpted in wax, and refined through advanced 3D printing and CAD technology. By restoring and refining existing pieces, and by crafting over 80% of our new jewellery from recycled and refined precious metals, we actively reduce carbon emissions and minimize our footprint on the planet.
