Henrik Lund (born 1883, died 1960) settled as a silversmith in Notodden in 1911. The workshop with the associated retail business was located in Storgata 58.
Henrik Lund specialized in bunad silver, but he also made a large number of other jewelery and objects. In 1949, Lund had six men employed at the workshop, and among other things, jewelery, brooches, crosses, bracelets, rings and bunad silver etc. were produced in silver filigree. The business had customers far outside Notodden.
Henrik Lund received a gold medal for his own work in gold and silver filigram at Telemark County Exhibition in 1923. In 1950, he received the King's Medal of Merit in gold for his work.
In 1939, he transferred a retail store in Storgata 51 to his son, Kristian Fredrik Lund. In addition to running a business, his son ran a workshop where 3-4 men were working on repairs and production of silver filigree. In 1958, the other part of the business was also transferred to his daughter Gerd and son-in-law Kåre Brattekås.
Henrik Lund died in 1960. The company continued until 1980
