NECKLACE LENGTH

Most necklaces come in several standard lengths (34-36-38-40-42-45-50-60-70-80-90cm), but you can also get a specially adapted length in many cases.

Length also often varies based on the jewelry design. A normal short necklace for a woman is between 38 to 45cm.

The normal length of a bracelet for women is 19 cm.

Longer chains are often used for larger pendants and medallions.

Decide where you want the necklace to sit, in the neck, chest, or perhaps on the lower chest, etc.

If you are unsure of the length, we recommend measuring with a thin thread, then place the thread along a measuring tape to find the approximate length.

Remember that the chain length does not include the pendant. The average pendant size is 2 - 5cm.

Men often choose chains from 50 - 60cm in length. The normal length for bracelets for men is 21 cm.

When measuring the wrist tightly, remember to add approx. 2cm extra so it does not get too tight.

A thicker necklace and bracelet also build more around the neck and wrist due to the larger difference between inside and outside circumference.
